Heavy Rain

from Alaska by Vultures

/

lyrics

When it rains it pours down. So unforgiving. Just let it all come crashing on me. Your flooding tears they run straight down my hands. There is no stopping now. You’ve got me paralysed. Come, tragedy. Come sing it louder for me. Will it always be like this? The perfect storm. Swirling from your mouth. Sky sirens calling out. Silver needles fall with a temper. There is no going back. I feel the ground start to shift before my feet. To my epiphany. Cold stares dripping from the ceiling. Could have sworn I caved in but it’s beating... this tired heart keeps on beating. We always said this was getting worse. And never did it ever end for us. These arms wrap around to gather in what’s left. I’ve written this final chapter. Words bleeding down the fucking page. I wrote this all about you.
